megan Runyon

Megan Runyon is the founder of Venture Forward, an experiential design company creating immersive environments where trust, connection, and leadership are forged under real conditions.

Her path spans business development, global fashion product work, luxury yachting, and humanitarian disaster response. Across each world, one truth became clear: when pressure rises, trust determines everything.

Venture Forward was built on that principle. Megan designs off-grid, scenario-based experiences that blend tactical skill-building, decision-making under pressure, and intentional recovery set in remote environments and delivered within a refined container. These experiences are not about spectacle. They are about clarity, responsibility, and learning to rely on one another when comfort falls away.

Working alongside a network of veteran instructors and guides, Megan leads with a philosophy of earned trust, shared challenge, and calm under pressure. She creates spaces where individuals and teams move beyond performance and into presence.

Venture Forward exists to interrupt the isolation of modern leadership. The result: people return more grounded, more connected, and better prepared to lead when it matters most.

our instructors and facilitators

Venture Forward partners with a trusted network of instructors coming from experience in real environments: special operations, emergency and medical response, expedition leadership, maritime and alpine operations. They are practitioners.

They’ve led in austere environments, made decisions when stakes were high, and learned that composure, clarity, and trust are not concepts, but rather the foundation of success.

What unites them isn’t resumé prestige. It’s presence.

They know how to hold a calm center in chaos. How to push without ego. How to create challenge without stripping psychological safety. They teach practical skill, yes, but more importantly, they model accountability, steadiness, and integrated strength.

In a Venture Forward experience, they are guides and quiet anchors. They know when to step forward. When to step back. And when to let the environment do the teaching.

The result is an experience led by professionals you can feel, steady, capable, and grounded. The kind of leaders you instinctively trust.
